I can be the most persuasive speaker and really have a special way of reaching people..but If I lack love? It's just noise. I can obtain and convey so much wisdom and knowledge as to uplift and enhance this generation.. But if I lack love? My words mean nothing. I can have all the faith in the world as to make mountains fall, but if I lack love? My faith is void. Without love? I AM NOTHING. 

We know that Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. Love does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. But this blog post is not about what love is. We know what it is. But how do we achieve it? Better yet, what prevents us from experiencing, achieving and conveying the full elements of love that we so fervently try to govern our lives by? 

Our emotions. Particularly TWO emotions. These two emotions are spiritually and mentally DEADLY. It is quite obvious that that these two emotions are very prevalent to God because a great percentage of the bible focuses greatly on them. Many of the world's greatest leaders and servants fail and fall because of these two emotions. These two emotions will absolutely ruin our lives, including our eternal life if we do not govern them accordingly. These two emotions? Our Anger and Our Pride. 

This particular blog post is not meant to present or discuss what I may deem helpful to this topic. It has already been written, and written well. In this blog I will list various scriptures that deal with these two emotions alone. Together, we can read them, allow them to truly marinate into our spirits, and govern ourselves accordingly.

Father, we thank you so much for who You are and all that You do. Your love is amazing God. You are Love, and You love us so much, and for that we are forever grateful. Lord we realize that we are created in Your image, and should daily die to flesh as we desire Your heart and Your ways. We realize God that there are times that we allow ourselves to fall out of Your will and Your ways. Deliver us from ourselves God. We need You. It's not that we don't have a heart to love, or to walk in love, it's just that many times we get in our own ways and become blinded. We are Your children God. Help us to govern our hearts and our minds accordingly. Help us to walk in love to the fullest degree. Help us to approach this situation and every situation God with an open heart, an open mind, and an open spirit so that we are able to receive every manifestation that you have bestowed upon our lives. We thank You, and we ask all of these things in Jesus' Name. Amen.

  Ephesians 4:26-31

  "In your anger do not sin": Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry,  and do not give the devil a foothold.  He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with his own hands, that he may have something to share with those in need.  Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.  And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.  Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.

Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.

The vexation of a fool is known at once, but the prudent ignores an insult.

But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire.

Psalm 37:8-9
